Pentecost Break Travels

(May 17th Through May 28th, 2002)

Am 17. Mai habe ich eine Reise durch Deutschland und Österreich angefangt.  Ich hatte einige Ziele die ich möchte tun, aber kein echt Pläne.  Ich habe fast alles entscheidet nach ich Freiburg gelasst hatte.

(On May 17th I began a trip through Germany and Austria.  I had a few goals which I wanted to do, but no real plans.  I decided almost everything after I had left Freiburg.)

Friday, May 17th (My Birthday!!!)

Freitag Morgen früh, fahre ich nach Konstanz, Deutschland mit Amy, Katie, und Jon.  Konstanz liegt auf den Bodensee.
(Early Friday morning, I went to Constance, Germany with Amy, Katie, and Jon.  Constance lies on Lake Constance.)

Unsere Jugendherbege war in der Schweiz, so wir haben uber die Grenze gelauft viel Mal.
(Our Youth Hostel was in Switzerland, so we walked over the border many times.)

Spater gingen wir zu ein Biergarten, und meine Geburtstag ein bischen gefeiert. :-)

Saturday, May 18th

Am Samstag, denn es ein ganz schön Tag war, haben wir ein elektro-motor Boot gemietet.
(On Saturday, because it was a beautiful day, we rented an electric-motor boat.)

Spater, gingen wir nach Insel Mainau, "Die Blumeninsel im Bodensee."  Zuerst zum Schetterlinghaus...

Während wir im Schmetterlingshaus waren, haben es zu regnen angefangt, aber wir um durch der Insel noch gelauft.
 (While we were in the Butterfly House, it began to rain, but we still walked around the island.)
